John P. Briggs is the author of Trickster Tales, a collection of stories, of which Booklist said, “There is a breathless quality to Briggs’ fiction that is not so much suspense as a sense of suspension, as though the moorings of reality had been cut.” He is also author or co-author of several nonfiction books in aesthetics and physics, including Fractals: The Patterns of Chaos; Fire in the Crucible; Seven Life Lessons of Chaos; Turbulent Mirror and Metaphor: The Logic of Poetry.
