Editing literary publications is an opportunity to select art that can strengthen the values and direction for the future from wonderful people. At the recent AWP Pamela Uschuk, editor of Cutthroat, A Journal of the Arts, and a Black Earth Institute Fellow, organized a panel called “Art and Activism, Poetry and Editing: Helping to Build “Paradise”, Helping to Bring Truth to Power, along with Emeritus Fellows Ann-Fisher-Wirth and Mellisa Tuckey.
