Lauren Camp, writer, editor and BEI fellow, has a new poem featured in Asymptote Journal’s Spring Issue: Literature from Banned Nations. On the Asymptote podcast, hosted by Dominick Boyle, she reads her poem. She and Boyle discuss navigating the boundaries of life in America as a descendant of one of the nations banned by the recent executive orders, and what it’s like to write poems from that experience as an act of asserting and affirming personhood.
