Spoken word! As traditional as Shakespeare, as ancient as primeval legend, as modern as hip hop, as visceral as hunger, as exuberant as laughter, as rhythmic as dance. Two performers with very different styles, both masters of the art form, expressing universal themes informed by African American experience, on Sat. Feb. 16, on your own or bring a friend or two.
The New Moon Coffeehouse is where you want to be! For more information about the event.
Tickets $20 available at the door, cash only (we do not accept credit cards). Ages 18 and under half-price. Link here for tickets.
