BEI Emeritus Fellow Mary Swander has written a new play, “Map of My Kingdom,” which will by followed by a “Legacy Letter Workshop,” for those invested in Farms, and Family Businesses. The event is being hosted by the Purdue Initiative for Family Firms, and will be held on November 16th, from 4-9pm. at Purdue’s Krannert Auditorium. Farmers and Business Owners will learn strategies for developing a legacy plan, based on the pros and cons of their options. The play will depict a rich legacy of land transition, and is commissioned by the Practical Farmers of Iowa. The event is $50, and a registration form can be found here.
