Emeritus Fellow Regie Gibson co-creates “Shakespeare to Hip Hop” with Marlon Carey, Boston

A BEI Emeritus fellow, slam poetry champion and educator Regie Gibson teams up with Marlon Carey, a hip hop poet and actor, and musicians to create a literary performance that combines poetry, spoken word, story, song and rap.  Hosted at the Roslindale Branch Library outside of Boston, MA, Shakespeare to Hip Hop will take place from 1-2 pm on October 21st.

Presented as part of All the City’s a Stage: A Season of Shakespeare at the Boston Public Library, commemorating the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death.
