Staggering numbers of writers– mostly women– have had our confidence wounded,
educations cut short, voices distorted or stifled, and manuscripts left unfinished or unpublished due to sexual harassment from writing teachers, colleagues, editors, publishers, and role models. How do we survive literary sexual abuse? Should we speak or stay silent? How can we reclaim our voices? This panel focuses not on retaliation, but on transformation, enacting a creative community where all are free to heal. The panel will close with an interactive ritual of healing and transformation.”
